We've made it easier for you to know exactly what to expect by organizing our steps and prices here. And of course we help you through this process. You can undoubtedly find cheaper photography services than ours, but we believe you will "get what you pay for". We specialize in top notch personal service, unique artistic approaches, and high quality finished products. Please don't hesitate to ask for an estimate or more details if you don't find the info you need here. 1. CREATE 2. FINISH 3. PRESENT PRE-PLANNING ...with NO cost, obligation, or annoying sales tactics! BEGIN WITH THE END: think about what emotions, concepts, or "looks" you envision for the final images as well as how you may want to display or use them. Perhaps you have seen other work by Jeff, or some other visual inspiration; you are welcome to show or describe those to us to help communicate what you have in mind. Working with AI is a creative collaboration, so your ideas do not need to be "fully baked" before contacting us. But be sure to convey any specific goals you DO have, so we can help you determine the best session types and styles. INITIAL CONSULTATION: contact Jeff by phone or email to discuss how best to achieve your goals, ask initial questions you might have, and set up your appointments (see below). IMAGE CREATION SELECT CREATION PACKAGE: package prices include the set of work it will take to plan and create your initial images. Descriptions and pricing for creation packages can be found [HERE]. PUT US TO WORK: included in your Creation Package are three important appointments we'll arrange with you: - Design Meeting  (to plan the details of your session including set,costume, make-up etc.; ~1 hour) - Photo Session  (studio or location photo shoot; 1+ hours depending on Creation Package purchased) - Previewing Consultation  AI will help you choose the best images from your session for printing or other Finishing work, and discuss any modifications or enhancements to be made. (We do not use high-pressure sales tactics; this is YOUR session to help you through the creation process). ~1 hour AI Creation Packages are guaranteed to produce a great set of usable images from which your finished products can be created. Based on results of the CREATE phase, your selected images then need to be rendered into a more finished product. To offer you minimum "risk" and maximum flexibility, pricing for prints and other finishing work is kept separate from the creation package pricing. There are too many options available to list here, in both package and "a la carte" form. But here's a summary of options (Jeff will help you choose): POST PRODUCTION: retouching, artwork, and effects are usually applied to your selected image(s). This is often included with print or digital packages (below), but can also be ordered or upgraded separately. PRINT PRODUCTS: AI pre-selects combinations of print types, treatments, and mountings that work great together -- and packages them at discounted prices. This simplifies your print ordering and saves you money compared with 'a la carte' pricing, though we can also price things individually when necessary. Our main prices are openly listed [HERE]. DIGITAL PRODUCTS: In addition to prints, we offer digital file versions you can purchase at different resolution/price levels. For more info see our price list [HERE] A LA CARTE: printing, digital output, and specialty finishing options can be ordered individually in addition to, or instead of, package ordering. (Note: some of these features are included in the price of Print or Digital Packages listed under Finishing. CUSTOM FRAMING: AI has arranged with a top notch local framing company to produce hand-crafted display solutions for your AI prints. You can have frames completely custom-designed to suit your images and decor by selecting from among the hundreds of available styles. Or, choose one of the custom designs Ardent Images has pre-designed with the framer to complement Jeff's signature styles. Either way, you may be surprised to find that this personal service does not cost substantially more than typical chain store custom framing. Also, if you have us frame your AI wall print, the guarantee on the combined print and frame is automatically extended to a lifetime limited guarantee.
